I am excited to finally share with you the my Guest Blogger page in the January 2103 issue of ELLE magazine. It was shot by photographer Sophie Elgort, Arthur Elgort's daughter, right before I left for High Point and it was very hard keeping it secret. There should be more of my decorating ideas on ELLE.com soon but for now, I hope you will pick up a copy of the magazine. Thanks ELLE!

Thanks Nancy Meyers!
I can't lie. I heard it through the grapevine that writer/director Nancy Meyers was a fan of my blog. But to see her name it as one of her daily reads in the "12 Things She Can't Live Without" in the July/August 2012 issue of ELLE DECOR was pretty amazing. I always watch her films like Something's Gotta Give and The Holiday every time I see them on television so this is a huge honor. Also makes me want to go back and watch some of her classics like Private Benjamin and Baby Boom. Thanks Nancy!
Thanks Barneys!
I can't walk down Madison Avenue without popping into Barneys for a little shopping or sometimes just inspiration. So, I was extremely honored to be interviewed for their Barneys: The Window blog. You can read my thoughts on design and fashion as well as what I would would be wearing in the morning if I was locked in Barneys overnight. Thanks Barneys!
Thanks Telegraph!
Most of the time, my Google Alerts don't actually alert but today I am very happy that they did work. Otherwise, I would not have known that The Telegraph named Habitually Chic one of The 20 Best Interiors Blogs. I'm extremely honored to be included with Apartment Therapy, Lonny, and The Selby among others. I also absolutely love their description of my blog...
"'Glamorous Lives & Stylish Places’ is the tagline to this utterly compelling blog from a New York interior designer, a woman of unashamedly uptown taste, both modern, slightly Mad Men uptown and the more traditional. She’ll post photos of everything from the late Jackie O’s swag-tastic Fifth Avenue apartment to her own well-stocked dressing-room. Yes, it’s that fabulous."
I'm going to refer to myself as "unashamedly uptown" from this moment forth! Thanks Telegraph!
Since The Telegraph is based in the UK, I figured why not post my all time favorite photo from British interior designer Veere Grenney.
