August is when most Europeans take a month long holiday. I envy them and vow each year to do the same. It hasn't quite happened yet but when it does, I might have to look into spending my time off in Portugal. Jacques Grange has a compound of four houses for himself and friends (note to self: make friends with Jacques Grange). They are all decorated slightly differently but all take their cues from the local environment including this one. I especially love all the natural elements mixed with blue and white. It definitely looks like a lovely place to while away the dog days of summer. Sigh.
